Connect a TikTok test account

1. In the desktop application, open Accounts → Connect TikTok account.
2. For the current owner development build, import the dedicated TikTok sandbox app configuration through the native file picker. Keep the secret private.
3. Choose Connect TikTok account and complete TikTok’s official browser consent.
4. Return to the application, refresh status and verify the displayed account identity and granted permission.

Sandbox accounts must be authorized target users in the developer console. This is a development setup, not a public customer onboarding flow.

What this grant permits

Basic identity verification only. It does not enable uploading, Direct Post, scheduling or analytics on TikTok.

Connection issues

Confirm the developer app’s Desktop redirect URI matches the configured callback. Denied consent, expired grants and unavailable platform access must be resolved before reconnecting. Use Verify connection to check identity; use Revoke access & disconnect to end the grant.

Prepare finished media

Import media you are entitled to use, prepare destination-specific copy and review the exact action. Publishing is available only where an adapter, account grant and required approval are in place. A draft or local schedule is not proof of delivery.
